Volunteer Opportunity Websites

For the Chillicothe, OH area, there are currently no locally-managed platforms that list volunteer opportunities and connect volunteers with local organizations. However, local organizations may post to national or statewide volunteer sites.

  • City of Chillicothe Volunteer Opportunities

    Chillicothe utilizes several Boards and Commissions to help establish and operate different portions of our community. The members of these entities are often a combination of City Council, staff, and appointed members from the community who can offer direct expertise. Positions are filled on an as-needed basis as term limits are met or vacancies are encountered.

    Teens who have completed 6th grade through high school can volunteer at the library to be involved in the community and earn service hours. Parent/guardian permission is required. We offer different teen volunteer opportunities during the school year and during the summer.
