| About | The Sussex County Division of Senior Services functions as the Area Agency on Aging as mandated by the Older Americans Act as amended. It is the lead agency for the coordination of aging services within the county and a resource for all seniors and caregivers of the elderly regardless of financial status. Health promotion is a Senior Services priority. The Division of Senior Services collaborates with other county divisions community agencies and corporate supporters to provide interesting educational and rewarding activities for seniors. State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) volunteers assist people with their Medicare billing issues and Medicare Part D options. |
