Here are places to learn more or that may show current needs. Typical Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities: Saturday Workdays Anyone is welcome to pitch in to help keep our preserves up to snuff. Plus, it’s a great way to meet other conservation-minded folk! Odd Jobs Office maintenance, stuffing envelopes, data entry, weeding the flower beds — less glamorous volunteering for which we are grateful nonetheless! Wednesday Warriors The Wednesday Warriors are a friendly group of volunteers who have met on a near-weekly basis since 2002 to lop and chop their way through veritable jungles of invasive vegetation. CE Monitors Explore some really interesting properties while making a long-term commitment to land protection. Seed Collectors Explore SWMLC’s preserves while indulging an interest in native plants — become a Seed Collector! Contact the organization to explore other possible ways to work together. |
