Volunteer in Sapphire at Woodway

Do you know how it feels to make someone else smile, to lighten a heart or add a moment of caring to a senior’s day? Within Woodway’s Assisted Living and Retirement Community our volunteers assist with social activities, engaging our residents at all levels of abilities. Our volunteers provide excitement, fresh ideas and faces while mentoring seniors through involvement with games, trivia, cards, reading, baking, crafts, art, music, exercise, movies etc.

Our volunteers work directly with residents. No personal care or administrative work. Woodway would love to have volunteers to help facilitate classes or organize groups such as painting, knitting, cards games, spelling bee, trivia even basic computer classes or Facebook lessons.
