Volunteer in Holy Fellowship Church of God in Christ

Glorify God, edify the saints, and evangelize the lost. We purpose to be a light as Jesus describes in Matthew 5:14 (Ye are the light of the world…). We purpose to be epistles as Paul writes in II Corinthians 3:2 (Ye are our epistle written in our hearts…). Further, we purpose to fulfill the scriptural mandate of Matthew 25:35-36, which calls for us to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and incarcerated. We purpose to be all we can be for the kingdom of God.

In October 1987, Bishop Michael J. Paden, Sr. founded the Belvedere Holy Fellowship Church of God In Christ, Inc. with a $300,000 building and only $160 in the bank. The first service was held in March 1988 at 1522 Thomas Road in Decatur, Georgia. By November 1992, the church moved to a larger facility at 2589 Tilson Road, Decatur, Georgia. In June 1998, the church relocated again to 2866 Panthersville Road, Decatur, a former Masonic lodge. In 2004, God led the church to its current location at 3691 Centerville Highway, Snellville, Georgia. Today, through the leadership of Bishop Michael J. Paden and First Lady Peggy Paden, God continues to demonstrate the power of “Holy Fellowship.”
