The Community Boating Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that fosters small watercraft education, access, safe recreation, and marine stewardship on Bellingham Bay. We depend heavily on volunteers to support all aspects of the organization from assisting with special events and community outreach, skippering public sails, and being board members. We have a small number of year round administrative staff and rely on volunteers and a team of seasonal staff to lead our educational programs and support boat rentals. Our programs and atmosphere are focused on safe boating, fun, and a positive experience on Bellingham Bay.
