| How you help | We are looking for local volunteers who are self-motivated. We don’t expect that everyone who volunteers with us will do this for years (we can hope) but we do expect that you’ll stick with it for at least a few months and that you won’t just stop without notice! The animals depend on us for regular feeding, watering, and interaction. |

| About | Ahimsa Haven was incorporated in 1999 as a nonprofit animal rescue group. Our mission is to find good homes for abused, abandoned, homeless and unwanted domestic animals. We raise money through donations, grants, and fundraising events in order to provide routine and emergency medical care for animals in need. Every penny we raise goes to the animals – no one gets a salary! |
