Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world every day because they share a core belief – to serve their community. Meetings are 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 6 P.M.

Mutual Aid & Grassroots Networks

Many communities rely on grassroots and informal networks to meet urgent needs. There may be opportunities to get involved through mutual aid networks, food distribution efforts, neighborhood action teams, or other groups that aren’t often listed on volunteer platforms.

  • Maui Rapid Response

Maui Rapid Response is an ahupa’a inspired frontline mutual aid network mobilizing resources, people, and action to meet the emergent needs of Maui’s most vulnerable communities.

We link ‘ohana to essential resources, support networks, and collective action as stewards of the first written human rights act, Kanawai Mamalahoe.
