    In 2010 Rick Wilson, then a teacher at Mesquite Elementary, started a Recycling Club with his students. Eventually we moved the recycling bins to Casa Grande Middle School and also expanded an existing program at Palm Creek Resort. Volunteers at both sites sort and bag accepted items which are hauled to a local facility in exchange for money. Last year (2024) we donated $11,000 to local agencies.
