Service Clubs

Many communities have local service clubs that offer community engagement opportunities, such as Rotary Clubs.

  • Maryville Rotary Club

    Maryville, Tennessee’s local chapter of Rotary, provides service to others,  promotes integrity, and advances world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

    The club’s most significant and on-going projects have involved a major leadership and support role in the Heart 2 Heart program, which promotes both global grant projects and other non-grant projects in District 4170 (central Mexico). The club has been actively involved in this program since 2008.

  • Maryville Lions Club

    Maryville Lions club are volunteers who passionately believe every child deserves a clear view of the classroom and everyone deserves to see their world with confidence.  They also believe that the best way to make this a reality for our friends and neighbors in Blount County is to get involved and act.

    With free screenings, recycled glasses, school partnerships, and support for underprivileged adults, they help bridge the gap between need and care.

    The Kiwanis Club of Maryville is a mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds, and interests. They are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive. They are devoted to serving the children in our local community and also children all across the country and worldwide through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives.

  • Junior Service League of Maryville

    Junior Service League of Maryville, with the support of community partners and generous individual donations, has provided gifts for over 1,400 needy children each year all across Blount County. They provide gifts for newborns, tots, and children up to age 14. Toys for Blount County is a year-long process that requires many hours, many volunteers and many dollars to accomplish.

    Chilhowee Club is women’s civic organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of women and children in our community.

    Founded in 1891, Chilhowee Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), and international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
