The YMCA of Greater Houston is a not-for-profit community service organization established in 1886 to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. The mission seeks to promote core values by focusing on empowering youth, healthy families, and inclusion communities. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our children, our health, and our neighbors. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
