About

Park Place Adult Day Services was opened in 1985 as an independent, nonprofit agency serving the South Wood County area.  Park Place is certified by the State of Wisconsin for up to 24 clients, 5 days per week.  We are a member of the Wisconsin Adult Day Services Association and provide services for any vulnerable or dependent adult but specialize in dementia care. Staff members are specially trained to provide person centered care, which means any client who is unable or does not want to do the planned activities, is offered other choices.  To accomplish this, we have 1 staff for every 4 clients.  Besides Alzheimer’s Disease, we have clients with other
forms of dementia and those with physical or developmental disabilities, strokes, head injuries, or brain disorders. We work and are funded by Incourage Community Foundation and the United Way of South Wood  & Adams Counties.  A Board of Directors, composed of community
leaders, guide Park Place Adult Day Services in planning and policy.
