Volunteer in Healing the Children Illinois/Indiana Chapter

To help children throughout the world receive medical care unavailable to them due to a lack of medical and financial resources or health insurance.

We are the Illinois/Indiana chapter of the National NPO, “Healing the Children.” Healing the Children is a non-profit, non-partisan, volunteer organization with a 501(c)(3) I.R.S. tax exemption. Our purpose is to help children throughout the world receive medical care unavailable to them due to a lack of medical and financial resources or health insurance. Needy children are provided this vital medical care through three basic programs. As a part of this process, Healing the Children locates doctors and hospitals who are willing to donate their services, provides host families homes for the children when they are not in the hospital, and provides round trip airfare (which includes an escort) for each child.
