Friends of Northern Lake Champlain (FNLC) is a nonprofit organization focused on improving and protecting the water quality of Lake Champlain in northern Vermont. Founded to address the environmental challenges affecting the lake, FNLC works with local communities, businesses, and governments to reduce pollution and restore the lake’s ecological health. The organization focuses on mitigating runoff from agricultural lands, urban areas, and roadways, which contribute to water pollution. FNLC strives to promote sustainable land-use practices, enhance environmental education, and build partnerships to preserve the lake for future generations.
