| About | Columbus Animal Care Services (CACS) is a department of the City of Columbus. We provide both Animal Sheltering Services & Animal Control Services for the City of Columbus. The department does not euthanize animals for space reasons but due to our limited facility size, we collaborate with other shelter and rescue partners across the state and beyond to find appropriate placement for animals. Our fundraising partner, Friends of Columbus Animal Care Services holds events to assist with the Adoption Medical Fund for CACS which covers all the medical needs of the animals. |
