| Bay Area Rehab has made a difference to thousands of clients with disabilities in Baytown and the surrounding Chambers Co. communities since we began operations in 1948. With outpatient occupational, physical, speech therapy and worker rehabilitation, the Center has a distinguished record of “making disabilities become possibilities”. The Center provides for senior exercise in its heated pool and our Early Childhood Intervention program provides therapy services to ‘at risk’ children aged from 6 weeks to 3 years. In May 2007, the Baytown Opportunity Center organization was merged into Center operations. This addition expanded our programs to incorporate vocational and day-habilitation opportunities and now enables us to provide a broader spectrum of general rehabilitation services. Finally, in 2019 we opened our Comprehensive Autism Program, providing autism specific services to clients of all ages. |
