The American Red Cross Blood Services is dedicated to providing safe blood products to those in need. We work to ensure we have an adequate blood supply of the highest quality. In the United States, every two seconds someone needs blood. In the Montana service area, every 27 minutes someone needs blood. The American Red Cross strives to collect over 700 pints of blood in the Montana service area each week to meet patients’ needs. The American Red Cross supplies blood to more than 30 area hospitals.
