| About | At end of life Hospice is a blanket of people wrapped around an individual and their loved ones. They can choose how much of that blanket offers them comfort and when. As a volunteer you are a part of this compassionate team. Hospice cares for both patient and family focusing on comfort in meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs. In volunteering the gifts are unable to be measured on both sides, yours and the individual you are assigned to. We give our time in 33 counties in Minnesota and into Wisconsin. This means that personalized requests are near you! NOTE: Currently Volunteers are supporting with 1-1 visits in homes and facilities, sending cards, and making phone calls. We can walk you through so that you can offer this support currently. Complete your online training and other steps with us at this time. We will supply you with personal protective equipment and coach you for support during this pandemic. |
