| About | The Alaska Songbird Institute is a nonprofit organization based in Fairbanks, Alaska. Our mission is to conserve Alaska’s boreal birds through ecological education & research. We were founded in January 2013. Our initial work was to sustain and develop two long-term avian research/education projects at Creamer’s Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge, a 2,000+ acre state wildlife refuge in the heart of Fairbanks: the Creamer’s Field Migration Station and Swallow Ecology Project. |
