Service Clubs

Many communities have local service clubs that offer community engagement opportunities, such as Rotary Clubs.

  • Mason City Rotary Club

The Mason City Noon Rotary meets in person Mondays at 12:00 PM at The Manor, 4 3rd St NW, Mason City.  They also have a satellite club for professionals who can’t make the noon meetings, which meets the 1st & 3rd Tuesday evenings at 6 PM at the VFW.

Under the leadership of President Don O’Connor, they are active in a number of local service efforts. Some recent highlights include volunteering at Ruby’s Pantry to help box and distribute groceries, donating to 43 North Iowa, and their annual “Cannonball Day” Chicken BBQ event.

  • Lion's Club of Mason City

Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world every day because they share a core belief – to serve their community. Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness, but we also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects – including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and the disabled.

Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.

  • River City Kiwanis Club

Are you looking for ways to get to know people in our community?  To connect with others, and get involved in projects that change lives?  Then you’ve come to the right place. Kiwanis is all about making friends and making an impact in our community.

If this sounds like you, please consider joining us for a meeting! We meet every Friday morning at the North Iowa Regional Commerce Center, with the option to join us virtually. Meetings start at 6:30AM, with the program beginning around 6:45AM.
