    A Precious Child, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to providing children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. A Precious Child serves children and families in eight Colorado counties, including Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Boulder, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson and Weld. Each year, we serve 50,000 children and 14,000 caregivers with cost-free essentials like clothing, hygiene items, food and diapers – provided with dignity.     A Thornton-area nonprofit tackling childhood food insecurity by partnering with local schools to provide nutritious food, weekend meal bags, and snack programs for students in need across Adams County.
