Serve Connecticut

The Connecticut Commission on Community Service is the premier vehicle of volunteerism and civic engagement that address the needs of those in our neighborhoods in Connecticut.

Service Programs

Service programs engage individuals in hands-on projects—such as education, conservation, disaster response, and community development—while providing valuable experience and making a direct impact.

  • AmeriCorps – Serve Connecticut hosts a range of AmeriCorps opportunities focused on improving health and education in the state.
  • Youth Service – Engaging youth in opportunities to lead efforts that benefit their communities contributes to their personal well-being and development and positively impacts their academic engagement, civic engagement, professional development and workforce readiness.
