Volunteer Opportunity Websites

For the Springfield, MO area, here are websites that list volunteer opportunities and connect volunteers with local organizations.

Service Clubs

Many communities have local service clubs that offer community engagement opportunities, such as Rotary Clubs.

  • Sunrise Rotary, a Rotary Club in Spring Field, MO

Meeting every Wednesday at 7 in the morning at Hickory Hills Country Club. As a philanthropic club, you can expect to be provided with ample volunteer opportunities. We partner with nonprofits throughout Springfield to provide financial support, free labor, and whatever type of need they may come across. There are many opportunities for socials for our members to attend. From monthly lunches that get you out of your own routine, to monthly wine clubs, to semi-pro football outings on a Saturday evening, we just enjoy being around like-minded individuals.

Mutual Aid & Grassroots Networks

Many communities rely on grassroots and informal networks to meet urgent needs. There may be opportunities to get involved through mutual aid networks, food distribution efforts, neighborhood action teams, or other groups that aren’t often listed on volunteer platforms.

  • Southwest Missouri Solidarity Network

The SWMO Solidarity Network is a working class project building community infrastructure and providing mutual aid in Springfield through direct action.
