The Cedar Rapids Noon Lions Club was founded on May 6, 1920 as part of the Lions Clubs International service organization. Their mission is to “empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions Clubs”. Project interests have expanded to include Diabetes, Hunger, Environment, and Childhood Cancer. Members of the Cedar Rapids Noon Lions Club come from a variety of backgrounds and ages.
