To provide STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) educational opportunities for 6th-8th grade students through the designing, building, and programming a competitive robot.

Typical Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities:
Mentor

Adults (21+ of age) are needed to lead/assist in providing/supporting STEAM (Science, Technology,Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) related opportunities to 6th through 8th grade students. These opportunities are offered as students create and build a competitive robot. This is a perfect opportunity for retired educators/engineers who wish to share their knowledge/experiences with young people.

How you help

Volunteers help teach soft skills such as time management, project management, teamwork, problem solving, etc. are also taught as well as STEAM education.
