Here are places to learn more or that may show current needs. Typical Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities: Sort ESS Resale Items Proceeds from ESS 6° Resale Store support all that we do. Help sort through and organize incoming items. You may even find something for yourself. Help Cook Breakfast At any point, we have up to 28 people living in the Women and Family Shelter. Bring friends and help us prepare breakfast for a few hours on a weekend. Take Care of the Shelter Our Shelter just turned 40 years old! While it’s served us faithfully, it needs constant love. Help with tasks around the house like painting or mowing the lawn. Contact the organization to explore other possible ways to work together. |

| About | The only family homeless shelter in Berrien County. Every night, we provide 28 beds to families across Berrien County, MI. We support our guests as they look for stable housing, and we connect their children with Montessori teachers to help build their skills, too. |
