Here are places to learn more or that may show current needs. Typical Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities: Seeking amazing camp counselors! Siblings of cancer patients often have to grow up faster than their peers and take on a caregiver role. Our Sibling Retreat offers these amazing kids tons of personalized attention, opportunities to connect with peers who can relate, and the chance to get back to the fun and magic of childhood. In partnership with our friends at One Mission, our Retreat welcomes kids who have had a sibling diagnosed with cancer to an absolutely epic escape to the beautiful Berkshires (822 Peru Rd, Hinsdale, MA 01235). Every day is jam-packed with fun, ranging from traditional summer camp activities to creative theme activities you’ve never seen before! You will play a crucial role in the care and supervision of some truly deserving kids during their time at Camp Casco. Your help will make this retreat one our siblings will remember forever. STRONG CANDIDATES WILL BE:18+- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19; Able to pass a background check (provided by Camp Casco); Able to commit to the full camp session in July 2023 (July 11-14) in Hinsdale, MA; Great role models for kids 9-16- Supportive team members; Not afraid to get silly and have fun to make a kid smile- Determined to help us make this camp session our best one yet!
