Volunteer PageVolunteer Opportunity Site Typical Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteer As a volunteer at Audio Journal, you will learn how to be a radio broadcaster. In the studio, we’ll teach you when and how to use the buttons and sliders on the radio console. Or we’ll teach you how to record your program at home on your computer, tablet or smart phone, and send us audio files through DropBox. No expert technical knowledge is needed to read in the studio or at home. We need volunteers for other activities too: Audio editing – we’ll teach you, program research, office tasks, and fundraising events. About	In 1987, Audio Journal began broadcasting from an unused closet at the Worcester Public Library. After a time at a location on Lincoln Street in Worcester, Audio Journal moved in 2003 to fully accessible studios on West Boylston Street in Worcester. Audio Journal operates with two staff and more than one hundred volunteers.
