| About | Along with our permitted rehabbers and educators, we have a team of volunteers who work 7 days a week. Primarily women, the ages of our volunteers range from 17 to 75. We are an eclectic group of people with many different social, political and religious backgrounds who have come together with one common cause, saving lives of the forgotten. Opie Acres is permitted by USDA and TWRA for educational programs with our live education ambassadors. If you would like to schedule an educational program, please contact us. They are free, however we do accept donations for the programs. |
