| About | Miracle Grounds Network (MGN) locates economic viability at the intersection of education, health and food through a unique Community Resiliency platform that integrates Curriculum Design, Health Innovation and Regenerative Entrepreneurship. Working with community stakeholders and supportive organizations across Winston Salem to link soil health to both Social Determinants of Health and Trauma Resiliency, MGN seeks to increase the nutrient density of food by building mineral rich soils through a city-wide garden network. These interactive gardens are healing sanctuaries within the larger urban network through its unique curriculum called the Story of the Plate. The Story of the Plate is about building a restorative economy across Winston-Salem. It tells the story of where our food comes from, the hands involved in planting and harvesting it, the businesses that use the food, what happens to the food waste, and how that waste is diverted from the landfill back into our community gardens. |
