| About | We’re named in memory of Callie Golden of High Point, N.C., who died at age 12 from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). SMA slowly weakened Callie’s body, but she lived a full life. Callie loved attending school despite her physical disabilities. A wide variety of support from her schools and her community made this possible. The Callie Golden Foundation hopes to provide similar support to other children who have disabilities. |
