Volunteer in Bellingham Threshold Singers

Bellingham Threshold Singers is a diverse group of women with the shared purpose of singing together to bring comfort to those who are seriously ill or dying and to their families. We are nurses, counselors, writers, teachers, administrators, business managers and more. We are loving friends, mothers, grandmothers, wives and daughters. We know what it is to care for and nurture others.

Our organization is run entirely by volunteers from our board of directors to the woman who answers the phone to those who set up our rehearsal space. Our rehearsals are led by volunteers who agree to be rehearsal leaders for a period of time. Experienced volunteers provide training for our members who want to become qualified to sing at the bedside.

We welcome new singers! However, perhaps singing at the bedside is not your thing. We need all kinds of volunteers in support of our mission. We will support you in any role you chose to play as a member of our group—at the bedside or as a volunteer.
