Our mission is to support Crouse Health in delivering the highest quality patient care and advancing community health by raising and managing funds that enhance hospital services, equipment, and programs. We are dedicated to ensuring that every gift—whether large or small—makes a meaningful impact, helping Crouse remain a vital resource for families today and for generations to come. About

We are the Crouse Health Foundation, established in 1974 as the fundraising arm of Crouse Health, a cornerstone healthcare system in Syracuse, New York, governed by a voluntary board of directors who oversee the stewardship of all donated funds and assets. Led by Executive Director Heather Allison Waters and a committed team, we’ve been supporting the hospital’s mission for over 50 years, evolving from a $5 million endowment drive in 1983 to a foundation with a fund now valued at nearly $32 million. We are a community of donors, volunteers, and healthcare advocates united by a shared vision of sustaining Crouse Hospital as a leader in specialties like neonatal care, cardiac services, and emergency medicine.
