  • The City of Bellevue Volunteer Program connects residents with volunteer opportunities supported by the local city government. It offers ways to get involved in community services such as environmental projects, public events, parks and recreation support, and civic engagement initiatives across Bellevue, Washington.

Service Clubs

Many cities have local service clubs that offer community engagement opportunities, such as Rotary Clubs.

  • The Bellevue Rotary Club is an organization of local community and business leaders who make a difference by serving the citizens of our city and the world. Our primary avenues of service are Community Service, International Service, Vocational Service, and Youth Service.

  • To continue to provide fresh produce for families, serve breakfast to kids and became Elves providing holiday joy to kids and families alike. Coming up we’ll be hosting Book Markets where kids will pick books for their very own and we’ll support the life long love of reading!

  • Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service organization, focused on humanitarian service, strengthening communities, and supporting those in need, with the motto “We Serve”.

Mutual Aid & Grassroots Networks

Many communities rely on grassroots and informal networks to meet urgent needs. There may be opportunities to get involved through mutual aid networks, food distribution efforts, neighborhood action teams, or other groups that aren’t often listed on volunteer platforms.

  • Washington CAN is a grassroots organizing network that advocates for economic justice, housing rights, healthcare access, and immigrant rights. The organization mobilizes community members across Washington State, including the Eastside region, to engage in collective action and civic advocacy.

  • The Tenants Union of Washington State is a community-based organization that supports renters’ rights through education, advocacy, and grassroots organizing. It provides tenant counseling and mobilizes residents to address housing justice issues in King County and surrounding areas.
